My dear friends, we are the gatekeepers of the doors that will lead to the transformation of Iran in the name of Christ. Before we go into the intricate details of this pivotal moment and how you can play a significant role, allow me to share an amazing story of one among the six million daily viewers who faithfully tune in to our broadcasts.

Mahsa is a woman living in Iran who watches our programs daily. When we spoke, I was very amazed by her Bible knowledge and biblical worldview. We talked about marriage and was impressed by her biblical perspective on marriage. We talked about persecution, and she gave me the best 3-minute speech I had ever heard about why persecution is good for Christians and how it helps them grow and be strong in their faith. Even more impressive was that for every subject that we talked about, she quoted multiple verses from memory.
I was shocked to know that she had come to Christ through watching our Satellite programs just over a year before. Yes, I was impressed by her, but I was also jealous because as a pastor and Christian leader, I felt I had not memorized as many verses as she had.
After nearly 20 minutes of this rich discussion, I asked Mahsa, “I am enjoying this conversation. But I am sorry, I have another meeting and I have to go. But first, tell me what can I do for you today? Why did you call?” Her response floored me. She said, “I called because I want you to send me a Bible, please.”
“What do you mean? You don’t already have a Bible?” I asked her, puzzled. “No,” she responded quietly. “May I have one?”
“Of course, we will send you one.” I assured her. “But I have to know, how is it that you know so much Scripture? How are you able to quote so many Bible passages and how do you know so much about its meaning?”

Mahsa quickly responded, “I watch your programs every day. Every time you quote a Bible passage, or place it on the screen, I write it down in my notebook, I memorize it, and then I do what it says. I have dozens of pages of Bible verses which I have gathered listening to your sermons and teachings. That is how I know what I know. I would really love to have a Bible of my own, though.”*

My dear friends, I cannot think of a better illustration of both the spiritual hunger of Iranians for the Gospel of Christ, and the power of Satellite TV to bring it to them.

THERE ARE THREE REMARKABLE SIGNS OF THE SUPERNATURAL POWER OF GOD’S WORK IN IRAN:

1.The Spirit of God is supernaturally illuminating the eyes of Iranians to see the contrast between their religion’s darkness and the Gospel’s light.
2.Many are finding their way to Christ through supernatural encounters like visions, dreams, healing, and miracles.
3.A supernatural spiritual hunger is flourishing among Muslims who are embracing Christ.

OUR OBJECTIVES FOR 2024:

In the year ahead, we have set two ambitious goals:

1.Utilize media, including Satellite broadcasts and social platforms, to “feed the hungry in Iran.” By this, we aim to reach the 2-3 million Muslim-background believers in Iran who possess a profound spiritual hunger but lack access to a local church. They rely on our broadcasts, online schooling, and social media for spiritual nourishment, guidance, and encouragement. According to an independent survey, in addition to our 2-3 million Christian viewers, we have another 3 million Muslim viewers daily. Many of them could make the life-altering decision to follow Christ if we continue our broadcasts in 2024.

2.Focus on engaging the youth of Iran with the Gospel, shaping the next generation of Christian leaders. Over 50% of Iran’s population is under 35 years old. This younger generation has largely turned away from both Islam and God. We require a fresh approach to connect with them. Our plan involves creating contemporary, age-appropriate programs that not only share the Gospel but also disciple and train them to become strong leaders in Christ’s army and history-makers.

I cannot emphasize enough how pivotal 2024 will be for the future of Iran and Iran Alive Ministries. The cost-effectiveness of Satellite TV is nothing short of astonishing, and the enduring spiritual fruit it yields is undeniable.

We beseech the Lord to provide for Iran Alive through compassionate friends like you. With your support, we can ensure the continuation of our broadcasts for another year        (a cost of $450,000), develop new programs, and expand our presence on social media while furthering our efforts to reach the youth in Iran (requiring a budget of $250,000).
