1. We believe that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God. By this we understand that the whole Bible is inspired in the sense that holy men of God “were moved by the Holy Spirit” to write the very words of Scripture. We believe that this divine inspiration extends equally and fully to all parts of its writings historical, poetical, doctrinal, and prophetical as they appear in the inerrant, original manuscripts (II Peter 1:21; Exodus 20:1; II Tim. 3:16; I Thess. 2:14; I Cor. 2:11-14; I Cor. 14:37; II Sam. 23:2; Deut. 4:35).
2. We believe that there is one God who has eternally manifested Himself in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit (John 10:30,36; Gal. 4:6; Acts 2:17,18; Gen. 1:26; Gen. 3:22; Gen. 11:7; Isa. 6:8; Matt. 3:16,17; Matt. 28:19; John 14:6; II Cor. 13:14; Deut. 4:35; John 17:5; Rom. 1:20).
3. We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and received a human body and a sinless human nature; yet, He retained His absolute deity, being at the same time truly God the Creator and truly man (John 1:1- 13; John 1:14; Phil. 2:5-11; Col. 2:9; Matt. 1:16-25; Luke 1:30-35; Luke 2:7,11; Gal. 4:4; Heb. 2:14; Heb. 1:8; Titus 2:13; John 10:30,38; John 5:17-23; Rev. 22:12; Heb. 1:1-3; John 17:5; I Tim. 3:16; Col. 1:16,19; John 14:9).
4. We believe in the diety and personality of the Holy Spirit, who indwells every true believer (John 15:26; Rom. 8:26,27; Eph. 4:30; Acts 13:2; John 16:13-15; I Cor. 12:13; I Cor. 6:19; I Cor. 3:16; Rom. 8:9; I Cor. 2:12,14; I John 2:27; Acts 5:3,4; Eph. 1:13,14; II Cor. 5:5; Acts 1:8).
5. We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he later sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature (John 3:3-8; Titus 3:5; Eph. 2:1-3; John 1:12,13; Isa. 53:6; Psalms 53:1-3; Isa. 64:6; I John 5:19; Rom. 3:23; Gal. 3:22; Eph. 2:1-3; Jer. 13:23; Mark 7:20-23; Psalms 51:5; Rom. 5:12; Jer. 17:9).
6. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scripture as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who repent and believe in Him are justified on the basis of His shed blood and thus have salvation (Isa. 53; II Cor. 5:21; John 1:29; Heb. 9:28; John 14:6; Rom. 4:4,5; Acts 4:12; I Pet. 2:24; I Pet. 3:18; Col. 2:14; I Cor. 15:1-3; Rom. 5:6-8; Gal. 3:13; Rom. 3:23,25; Col. 1:13,14,20,21; Col. 2:10; Acts 13:38,39; I Cor. 6:9-11).
7. We believe in the bodily resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ and His present intercession in heaven for His saints (true believers) (Acts 10:40,41; I Cor. 15:3-6; Rom. 4:25; Mark 16:9-18; John 20:11-29; Acts 1:3; Acts 2:24; Acts 3:15; I Cor. 9:1; Acts 1:9-11; Rom. 8:34; Eph. 1:20,21; Eph. 2:6; Heb. 4:14; Luke 24:39; Eph. 4:10; Heb. 1:3).
8. We believe that baptism should take place as soon as possible after salvation is realized, and it is done to fulfill the command of Jesus Christ and to identify with His death and resurrection (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Acts 22:16; Rom. 6:3,4; Col. 2:12; I Pet. 3:18-21).
9. We believe that the Church, the body of Christ, is composed of all those who personally receive Jesus Christ by faith alone as their Savior and Lord and thus are born again and the results of their repentance and faith is apparent in their lives. (Eph. 1:22,23; John 3:1-8; Eph. 2:8,9; John 1:12; John 5:24; John 6:47; Acts 13:38,39; Rom. 4:5,24,25; Rom. 5:1; I Cor. 1:30; John 17:21-23; Eph. 2:19-22; Col. 2:10; Heb. 10:10-14; Eph. 5:30-31; Gal. 2:20; I Cor. 13:5; Col. 1:27; I John 4:4; I John 5:18; I Cor. 10:13; Jude 24; II Cor. 5:17).
10. We believe in the real existence and personality of Satan (Rev. 12:9; John 14:30; I John 5:10; Luke 13:16; II Cor. 2:11; Eph. 2:2; Rev. 20:10; Heb. 2:14; Matt. 25:41; I Peter 5:8; James 4:7; Eph. 6:11,12).
11. We believe in “That Blessed Hope,” the personal and imminent second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Phil. 3:20,21; John 14:1-3; Acts 1:11; I Thess. 4:16,17; I Thess. 1:10; Heb. 9:28; I John 2:28; Titus 2:13; Matt. 24:44-46; Luke 17:26-30; Luke 18:8; Rev. 1:7,8; Rev. 22:13).
12. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust; the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost (I Thess. 4:13,14; John 14:2,3; I Cor. 15:35-57; Col. 3:4; II Thess. 1:8,9; Matt. 25:41,46; Mark 9:42-48; Luke 16:26).
13. We believe that upon salvation, we are divinely reckoned to be related to this world as strangers and pilgrims, ambassadors and witnesses, and that our purpose in life should be to make Christ known to the whole world (Matt. 28:18-19; Mark 16:15; John 17:18; Acts 1:8; II Cor. 5:18-20; I Peter 1:17; I Peter 2:11).
14. We believe in the power of prayer for salvation, healing, filling of the believers by the Holy Spirit, and the furtherance of God’s Kingdom.
